What this service is

Wilco Kitchen Quotes is a marketing and referral service. We collect information about your project and pass it to independent kitchen remodeling contractors serving your area. We are compensated by those contractors for referrals. You are never charged for using this site.

What this service is not

We are not a contractor, builder, remodeler, plumber, or electrician. We hold no construction, trade, or professional license, and we do not hold ourselves out as qualified to perform, supervise, inspect, or advise on construction work.

We do not:

• Perform or subcontract any construction work
• Enter into construction contracts with homeowners
• Accept payment for construction work
• Supervise, inspect, or manage any project
• Employ, control, or direct the contractors we refer you to

The contractors are independent

Contractors who receive your information are independent businesses. They are not our employees, agents, partners, or joint venturers. We do not control their pricing, scheduling, workmanship, business practices, or communications.

We do not guarantee, warrant, or endorse any contractor or their work. Inclusion in our referral network is not a certification, an endorsement, or a statement that a contractor is suitable for your project.

You should independently verify any contractor before authorizing work, including:

• Requesting a certificate of general liability and workers’ compensation insurance, and confirming with the carrier that it is active
• Asking which licensed subcontractors will perform electrical and plumbing work, and verifying those licenses
• Checking recent local references
• Obtaining a written scope of work and payment schedule before making any payment

Texas does not license general contractors or remodelers, so there is no state license to verify for the general contractor. Insurance, references, and a written contract are your practical protection.

Contracting and payment

Any agreement for work is directly between you and the contractor. You pay the contractor directly. We are not a party to that agreement, we are not a payment processor, and we have no role in resolving disputes between you and a contractor.

They are not quotes, estimates, construction advice, engineering advice, or legal advice. Actual costs and requirements depend on your specific property, scope, and current market conditions.
